For designer shoes in California or New York, this is a sale not to be missed.  Beginning Thursday, October 2, these designer samples  of shoes and boots will be arriving on the selling floor.  Just look at these designer names and prices:

Stuart Weitzman: usually $285 to $595, now 99.99

Cole Haan: at 49.99 to 79.99 as opposed to $70 to $450

Kate Spade, Diane Von Furstenberg, Kors, Dani Black, Michael Kors, and Arche all will be from 79.99 to 99.99 when they range from $150 to $950 elsewhere!  That’s up to 80% off department store prices on some of the most high end and sought after designer shoes. 

Selections will vary by store and the sample sale will only be available in  our Chelsea, Upper Westside, White Plains, Beverly Hills, San Francisco, and Chevy Chase stores. The sale ends on Sunday October 5^th, but for best selections, get there early.

Art is often in the eye of the beholder.

Whether it is a fine painting, a moving symphony or a piece of prose, the interpretation of the masterpiece if often at the discretion of the viewer / listener, the emotional response that they have to a particular movement. The same can be said for fashion, as it is wearable art.

But sometimes, you just have to say: “No, you got it wrong!”

It was with a chuckle that we listened to a recent mixed media piece presented by the prestigious NY Times, about the street trend of summer scarves. And while, indeed, the trend was well documented with many wonderful pictures of NY’s finest, the end reasoning for the summer scarf trend was the air conditioning in the New York City office buildings.

Um, not really….. the scarves just look good! Our own Loehmann’s buyer, Ava, called the neck wrap  out as one of this season hottest trends over a month ago.

No matter what your interpretation of this trend, and yes, it shall continue on into fall, Loehmann’s has a huge stock of these gossamer beauties on the selling floors right now. At prices as low as 14.99-24.99 (compared at $30-$60 elsewhere), you could actually stock up.

WABC Reporter, Kemberly Richardson of  Eyewitness News, visited the Loehmann’s Chelsea store in New York for the best in discount clothing.

Looking for the hottest fashion trends of the summer as identified by Lucky Magazine, Kemberly was on the hunt to find the best of the best; all for under $100. Of course, Loehmann’s is the place to find the best in designer must have’s at discounted prices.

Floral patterned dresses and tunics plus colorful and trendy beads and bangles were had. Kemberly found summer shorts of all lengths including fun nautical styles. Also on the list was groovy “bohemian chic” maxi dresses in colorful patterns. 

Unable to pass up on super savings and fabulous finds, Kemberly even bought a wondeful white spring coat and sundress for herself!

 The segment will be aired on Monday, June 9th during the 5 o’clock news at approximately 5:40pm.
