Acid Wash Flashback to Spring
Hey ladies, Ava here,
As our minds and hearts begin to turn towards the hope of warmer weather, I have begun to see sure signs of spring in our upcoming merchandise. One of the trends that I know will be hot this new season is acid wash.
Don’t worry! This is not the return of 1980’s acid wash.
Though last spring we did see acid wash jeans that looked terribly familiar, the soft weathered look of acid wash this year is hot on tops, not bottoms. Think of it as if you stole your older brother’s well worn football t-shirt since that is the look that today’s modern acid wash brings. In fact, some places are even calling it “potassium” wash just so shoppers can make that clear distention. We’re talking brightly colors, that have a unique look of wear and an insane level of comfort. In other words, they not only look good, but they feel great.
Just in time for Spring, Loehmann’s will be receiving a nice quantity of acid wash knit tops!
In a range of colors and style, we shall soon have in all your local Loehmann’s tank tops, crew necks, vnecks and novelty tops. Of course, prices will be much less than department stores ranging from 14.99 to 24.99.
Look for the most current styles and fashion colors from:
- Romeo and Juliet Couture
- Alternative Apparel
- Nobilita
- And more!
While acid wash was started in the mid-’80’s by the Italian company Rifle Jeans, and the look has grown and sunk in popularity over time, it’s very nice to see it come back in a soft and very wearable way. It’s definitely very nice to be able to think about warmer weather and new spring clothing. And of course, it’s even nicer to save a bunch of money at Loehmann’s while still looking fabulous!
And that’s the Loehdown!
Ava!
